Silicon Steel Grade Magnesium Oxide
Silicon steel grade magnesium oxide is an original proprietary product of our company that fills the domestic market gap. Successfully developed and put into industrial production in 1988, it is a vital chemical raw material for manufacturing oriented silicon steel sheets. During the production of oriented silicon steel sheets, it acts as an anti-sticking separating agent in high temperature annealing. Meanwhile, it forms a magnesium silicate underlayer to reduce core loss and enhance insulation performance of the steel sheets. This product broke foreign monopolies and enabled full localization of the 1.7 rolling mill at Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation. It was awarded the First-Class National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology.
